About The Position

The Gift Shop Specialist will provide support and assistance with the operation of the Imagine Experience. This includes assisting with the Imagine store, tours, and home office field events. The incumbent will ensure that administrative requirements for the department are efficiently met and provide project coordination support for departmental projects. The role requires excellent communication skills to help provide the Primerica Sales Force with an exceptional Imagine experience. The Specialist will assist the supervisor with scheduling bookings, giving and facilitating tours, managing store operations, handling event registration, processing reimbursements, and performing other department functions.

Requirements

  • Ability to speak in front of large groups ranging from 25 - 200 people.
  • Willingness to work weekend and evening events when needed.
  • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
  • Ability to lift up to 15-50lbs.
  • Ability to stand long periods of time.
  • Ability to manage long walks (stairs included).

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance with the operation of the Imagine Experience, working alongside the Supervisor.
  • Assist with the set-up, bookings, and operation of the tours.
  • Be responsible for script updates, monitoring tour displays, and keeping all tour guide equipment updated.
  • Be able to speak in front of large groups ranging from 25 - 200 people and give tours as needed.
  • Assist with the set-up and operation of the store by operating cash registers, requesting bank cash runs, and preparing month-end deposits.
  • Be responsible for monitoring/receiving inventory, ordering merchandise, and arranging displays.
  • Assist with the communications, set-up, bookings, and operation of the Home Office Field Events.
  • Provide accounting and budgeting support to the department when the need arises.
  • Assist with communication, processing, and delivery of travel reimbursements for field agents.
