About The Position
The Gift Shop Associate operates under the supervision of the Director of Volunteer Services or an authorized designee. This role is responsible for providing courteous and friendly service to patients, employees, visitors, doctors, and the general public within the gift shop.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Handle numbers correctly
- Make correct change
- Promote merchandise
- Form a correct judgment
- Follow directions and policy
- Must have a pleasing personality
- Be able to deal with the public in general and with the volunteers in particular
