About The Position
The Point Casino and Hotel is looking for a Gift Shop Attendant to join its growing team! This role executes sales transactions on a computerized POS system, handles inventory, and provides a consistently high level of guest service to all casino patrons and guests in the gift shop.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
- Ability to obtain Gaming License.

Responsibilities
- Executes sales transactions (totals bill, accepts payment, and makes change) on the computerized POS system.
- Obtains or receives merchandise into inventory.
- Provides a consistently high level of guest service to all casino patrons and guests in the gift shop.
- Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
- Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise.
- Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
- Responsible for assembly, disassembly and storage of gift shop displays and merchandise.
- Sells merchandise.
- Answers guest's questions regarding Gift Shop merchandise, Players Club programs and/or the casino in general.
- Obtains all casino, promotions and gift shop information for guest inquiries.
- Assists marketing in promoting promotions to guests and employees.
- Responsible for promoting positive image to guests.
