About The Position

Responsible for the proper availability and functioning of endoscopic equipment, accessories, and supplies. Cleans and disinfects endoscopic equipment according to standards. Assists the physician and/or nurse with preparation, delivery of care, and recovery of Digestive Disease Center patients. Works under the direction of the RN.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Ensure endoscopic equipment, accessories, and supplies are available and functioning properly.
• Clean and disinfect endoscopic equipment according to standards.
• Assist the physician and/or nurse with patient preparation, care delivery, and recovery in the Digestive Disease Center.
