About The Position

WSP Canada is seeking a Project Manager for its Montreal office. In a rich and dynamic work environment, in collaboration with the project delivery team, the Project Manager will be responsible for the following tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or any other equivalent training.
More than 5 years of relevant experience in project management in the field of building construction.
Sense of initiative, attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team.
Oral and written communication skills (French and English).

Nice To Haves

Experience in consulting engineering or with a contractor is considered an asset.
PMP certification is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of project delivery, including validation, functional and technical programming, design and planning, tendering, construction, final integration of deliverables to the client, and project closure, primarily for institutional and commercial building construction projects.
Manage different project phases including: Budget management and cost control / Scope management / Schedule management / Stakeholder management and internal/external coordination / Communication management (with the client, various contractual stakeholders, and functional units involved in the project) / Quality management / Document management / Risk management / Project procurement and purchasing management and contract administration / Project resource management / Change management / Internal and external approvals management.
Perform all other related tasks that may help in the completion of the project.
