About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere. We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and purposes.

We are currently looking for a German Teacher for one of our clients in Louisville, United States. This is a freelance, part-time position. The course is General German, two-to-one format, with a total of 30 hours. Each session is two hours long. The location is the teacher's office or a public location in Louisville, 40204. The student level is Beginner, and the student is between 35-44 years old. The schedule is twice per week, with flexibility for weekday evenings (6pm or later) or Saturdays and Sundays during the day (9am-5pm). The start date is Asap. The student's motivation is preparing a move to Germany, having lived there for 6 months in 2023 without learning much German.

Requirements

• Be a native German speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location (Louisville, 40204).
• Submit CV with references (if available).
• Submit availability.
• Submit earliest possible start date.

• Experience in teaching German to students preparing for a move to Germany.
