About The Position

EF Academy, an international boarding school located in Westchester County, New York, is seeking an experienced German teacher for the 2026 - 2027 academic year. The salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $85,000 based on relevant years of experience and highest degree earned. The position could also be part-time if needed and salary would be adjusted accordingly.

Requirements

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Master's degree.

Nice To Haves

• Love teaching and interacting with students beyond the classroom.
• Experience and / or knowledge of the International Baccalaureate and / or Advanced Placement.
• Experience living and working at a boarding school.
• Certification to teach and / or experience teaching Business courses at the high school level.

Responsibilities

• Full time teachers at EF Academy teach a total of five sections and will be required to differentiate instruction to support students whose first language is not English.
• In addition to the five sections of teaching, all academic faculty at EF Academy are expected to supervise two clubs and one advisory group, both of which meet twice a week during the school day.
• Teachers will perform residential duties during the academic year and attend school events.
• On campus housing is available; teachers who live on campus participate in residential life duties including weeknight study hall and weekend supervision.
