About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance German teacher to provide customized, one-to-one general German instruction to a beginner student in Winston-Salem, United States. The student is 18–24 years old and plans to study in Switzerland, requiring C2 certification by fall 2028. The course totals 60 hours, with two-hour sessions. Classes are to be held at the trainer’s office, though the schedule and location may be flexible depending on availability. The student is available three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, at 2:30 pm or 3:00 pm. The preferred start date is as soon as possible. This is a freelance position with part-time hours, and the hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Be a native German speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit or visa.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location.
