About The Position
Lorien Health Services is hiring Geriatric Nursing Assistants for its employee PRN Flex Pool, serving multiple communities across Central Maryland. The role offers a flat rate of $22.00 per hour, with additional earning opportunities through shift and holiday differentials and overtime pay. Employees can choose to work at any Lorien location and create their own schedule, with 8- or 16-hour shifts, a minimum of five shifts per month, and work at two or more different Lorien facilities. The position provides direct resident care in long-term care, assisted living, and nursing home settings. Requirements
- Active Maryland CNA I (GNA) license.
- At least 2 years of direct GNA experience.
- Current BLS or CPR certification.
- Reliable, professional communication.
- Ability to safely lift, push, and pull 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Out-of-state CNAs must obtain Maryland endorsement; reimbursement is available.
Nice To Haves
- PCC experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
- Accurately document care in EMR/EHR systems.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
- Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care in long-term care, assisted living, and nursing home settings.
- Work a minimum of five shifts per month, including shifts at two or more different Lorien facilities.
- Make call-outs directly to the facility.
