About The Position

Lorien Health Services is hiring Geriatric Nursing Assistants for its PRN Employee Flex Pool, serving multiple communities across Central Maryland. The position offers a flat rate of $22.00 per hour, with additional earning opportunities through shift differentials, holiday differentials, and overtime pay. GNAs can create their own schedule and work across Lorien locations. Shifts are 8 or 16 hours, with a minimum of five shifts per month and work required at two or more different Lorien facilities. The role provides direct resident care in long-term care, assisted living, and nursing home settings. GNAs document care in electronic medical record systems and follow nursing standards, facility policies, HIPAA, and healthcare regulations. Requirements

Active Maryland CNA I (GNA) license.
At least 2 years of direct GNA experience.
Current BLS or CPR certification.
Reliable, professional communication.
Ability to safely lift, push, and pull 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Out-of-state CNAs must be eligible for Maryland endorsement; reimbursement is available.

Nice To Haves

PCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Create a schedule that includes a minimum of five shifts per month and work at least two different Lorien facilities.
Provide direct resident care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
Accurately document care in EMR/EHR systems.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care in long-term care, assisted living, and nursing home settings.
Make call-outs directly to the facility.
