Requirements

  • Diploma or degree or equivalent combinations of academic or technical experience/knowledge of Civil Design and Construction
  • Three years of experience on a Large Civil project, preferably in the road, and bridges or rail sector.
  • Must have: Revit, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Additional Photogrammetry experience is an asset.
  • Revizto, Micro station Bentley, Trimble Business Center

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external clients and design to implement, manage and comply with project specific digital modeling requirements for large civil road, structure and rail projects
  • Utilize Civil 3D and NavisWorks tools and platforms for model coordination, civil asset management, 4D scheduling, planning, logistics and Virtual Reality.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Design Consultants and Subcontractors engaged in the Civil 3D modeling Plan
  • Manage 3D models, perform clash detection for all utilities existing and design, volumetric takeoffs and tracking, Coordination Meetings and assists in developing solutions with the Project Team, the Design Consultants and Subcontractors throughout design and construction.
  • Use the modelling software for asset data management and coordinate with project stakeholders.
  • Work alongside Project Managers and Construction Managers, Superintendents and Surveyors to meet schedule deadlines and deliverables.
  • Work alongside the construction team, especially the Surveying team to ensure a seamless path between design and construction.
  • Ensure you have a broad understanding of Georeferenced designs, Digital Terrain modelling and Topographic survey models from traditional methods as well as advanced, such as Lidar scanning and drone surveying.
