The Geomatics Analyst will serve as an integral member of the Environmental Engineering team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, fulfilling mapping requests for executive meetings, legal documentation, preliminary scouting and AFE (purchase reports), creating and maintaining Land dataset features using ArcGIS geoprocessing tools, completing interdepartmental-related data requests by entering and sending data to/from various sources and utilizing in ArcGIS, locating, obtaining, and loading data from public ArcGIS data repositories, assisting the Geomatics department in developing new datasets and making schema changes to existing datasets, utilizing the Esri GIS Portal to publish and maintain web maps, feature layers, and applications for use by all employees, being responsible for data QA/QC regarding ownership research, topology, and lease agreement accuracy, coordinating with third party data vendors, being familiar with the application of AI and machine-learning techniques, assisting in training other employees in the use of the Company’s GIS Portal and desktop applications when requested, and complying with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrating active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs.
