About The Position

We are now looking for a highly motivated, social and proactive team player in the heart of our customer service team to fill the position of Genomic Client Service Specialist in Canada. Our Client Services Team consists of energetic, innovative and positive experts of customer communication and Blueprint Genetics’ products. Our team has an essential role in the success of our company, and we work in close collaboration with laboratory, production and clinical interpretation teams, as well as, with marketing and sales. We at Blueprint Genetics are committed to providing clinicians, and their patients, with comprehensive and high-quality tools and resources for diagnostics of genetic conditions. We work with hundreds of clinics around the globe and the quality of our interpretation has been praised by many of the world’s best medical centres.

Requirements

  • Passionate about creating a great customer experience.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to provide high level service in French and English.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Ability to multi-task with interruptions and without being demotivated by routine back-office tasks.
  • Ability to handle tricky client inquiries as opportunities to learn.
  • Vocational or bachelor’s degree preferably in Life Sciences or relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience from a demanding customer service position.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and results-oriented mind-set with strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in Life Sciences, for example through studies.
  • Other languages are seen as an asset.
  • Previous work experience from medical or life science environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Offer world-class customer support to Canadian clients and ensure that the delivery process runs smoothly.
  • Answer questions concerning products, ordering, sample requirements and clinical statements via phone and e-mail.
  • Take care of order processing, quality control, and recording sample information.
  • Maintain records in the CRM system.
  • Contribute to developing the customer communication process.
