About The Position
Generator Systems LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Generator Field Service Technician to service diesel and natural gas power generation equipment. The role emphasizes accurate, methodical work within established procedures, safety standards, and clearly defined expectations. Technicians are given time and resources to diagnose issues thoroughly, complete work properly, and document and close out jobs with confidence. The technician reports to supervisors who provide direction and objectives while allowing independence once the technician is established. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of power generation experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Comfort working from technical documentation and established procedures.
- A careful, detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and recordkeeping.
- Professional, straightforward communication style.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel and natural gas generators.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals accurately.
- Complete service documentation thoroughly and on time.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about equipment status and service findings.
- Consistently follow established safety procedures, company policies, and industry best practices.
