About The Position

The General Warehouse Person performs tasks involved in processing and shipping orders to stores that service Walgreens customers. The role includes handling merchandise throughout the distribution center, tracking inventory, verifying orders, and maintaining a clean, safe, orderly work environment. Work may occasionally take place above ground level. The employee must be willing to work a flexible shift, including overtime as needed, and meet the physical requirements described in the posting.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• At least six months of experience operating motorized material handling equipment.
• At least six months of experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning.
• At least six months of experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system.
• Willingness to work a flexible shift, including overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand for at least 8–10 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to perform tasks involving pushing, pulling, bending, grasping, and daily pre-shift stretching, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• High school or GED diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, pick, pack, audit, and ship merchandise to stores.
• Track inbound and outbound items using radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure inventory accountability.
• Verify orders and enter them into the inventory management system.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; keep distribution center areas orderly and free of debris.
• Maintain quality standards set by distribution center management.
