About The Position

HomeGoods is hiring a General Warehouse Associate at its Distribution Center in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The role pays $18.25 per hour, with additional hourly shift differentials for certain shifts. Associates are assigned to a department and supervisor but may work in another area as needed. The workplace is described as clean and climate-controlled, with an emphasis on health and safety and opportunities for advancement. Available schedules are: A Shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM; B Shift, Friday through Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM, with a $1.80 hourly shift differential; and C Shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM, with a $1.45 hourly shift differential.

Responsibilities

Count, select, and sort totes, boxes, merchandise, or other assigned items.
Match receipts against purchase orders.
Ticket merchandise or other items using gum labels, a ticketing gun, or pin tickets.
Pack or unpack merchandise.
Seal boxes for shipping after packing is completed.
Manually handle totes, boxes, garments, or other items weighing up to 10 lbs. constantly, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
Work in another area of the distribution center if needed.
