About The Position

The General Warehouse Associate performs warehouse functions across order fulfillment, quality control and shipping, and inventory. Order fulfillment includes picking customer orders with an RF scanner and ensuring their completeness and accuracy in accordance with company quality and productivity standards. Quality control and shipping duties include checking, packaging, invoicing, and manifesting orders. Inventory work includes stock putaway, replenishment, cycle counts, and other basic inventory functions.

The position pays $18 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays. Seasonal overtime and weekend work may be needed.

Requirements

• Dependable and reliable transportation.
• Ability to operate a forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes for long hours.
• Schedule flexibility to accommodate seasonal overtime needs, including weekend work.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong motivation and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Physical stamina to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently.
• Physical strength to lift 30 pounds frequently.
• Ability to shift priorities easily.
• Ability to accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Positive and friendly attitude and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick ordered items from the correct bin location.
• Quality-check orders to verify that items and quantities match the customer order.
• Repack order boxes to the appropriate size when needed.
• Remove unnecessary product labels and/or work orders.
• Perform daily stock putaway and replenishment.
• Perform daily cycle counts.
• Follow established best procedural practices.
• Meet production standards during peak season.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
• Follow company policies outlined in the employee handbook.
• Maintain a clean work area stocked with necessary supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
