About The Position

Main Street Auto is seeking a skilled and dedicated General Tire and Lube Technician to provide vehicle maintenance and customer service. The position involves tire and oil service, basic inspections, wheel alignments, recordkeeping, and assisting customers with tire recommendations. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with weekly pay of $640–$920. Requirements

Must be over the age of 18.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient knowledge of tire installation, repair techniques, and oil change procedures.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to operate shop equipment and tools safely.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a tire and lube technician or in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs accurately and efficiently.
Conduct oil changes, replace filters, and check fluids to support vehicle performance.
Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues or safety concerns.
Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability.
Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and time spent on each task.
Assist customers with tire recommendations, answer inquiries, and provide customer service.
Follow company safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop.
