About this role: As a General Surgeon, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you’ll be part of a collegial group of five physicians and two APPs committed to delivering high-quality surgical care and supporting each other in a busy, fast-paced environment. You’ll manage a diverse caseload, collaborate with subspecialists, and contribute to a growing surgical team in a rapidly expanding community. You’ll also have the opportunity to perform robotic-assisted procedures with dedicated equipment and support staff. Budge Clinic is located on the campus of Logan Regional Hospital, a 148-bed facility designated as a Level III Trauma Center, offering close proximity to hospital resources and coordinated patient care. 2 days in clinic, 2 OR days, and 1 admin day during the week. No clinic on weekends; weekend call only. Weekend call is Friday night through Monday morning (24-hour shifts). 1:5 call rotation, including trauma first call.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • U.S. ACGME General Surgery Residency training
  • Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
