About The Position

A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a fellowship-trained (or similarly experienced) Breast Surgical Oncologist to join a thriving multidisciplinary cancer team in a newly built cancer center located just 45 minutes from Portland, Maine. Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Eligible for medical licensure in Maine
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered cancer care

Nice To Haves

• Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology preferred
• Fellowship-trained (or similarly experienced) Breast Surgical Oncologist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary breast surgical oncologist for a large regional service area.
• Build and grow a high-volume practice.
• Provide surgical care for approximately 175 new breast cancer patients annually.
• Perform approximately 275 surgical cases per year.
• Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary oncology team.
