About this role: As a General Surgeon at Cedar City Hospital, you’ll practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside two experienced surgeons. In this role, you’ll maintain a balanced mix of clinic and operating room time while delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care across a broad range of general surgery conditions. You’ll coordinate pre‑ and post‑operative care and utilize a full range of surgical approaches, including minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as traditional methods. Typical schedule includes two clinic days and two OR days per week Shared call coverage with expectations dependent on team size Opportunity to discuss additional clinical interests, with emphasis on maintaining balanced case volumes

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
  • ACGME-accredited residency training in General Surgery
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
