About The Position

The General Services Coordinator supports the grand opening and daily operations of Emerson Lakes, a continuing care retirement community in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. This customer-service-focused role provides guidance and responds to questions and concerns from residents, staff, and visitors. The coordinator handles office administration, work orders, housekeeping schedules, program records, and office-supply inventory. Emerson Lakes serves residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care.

Requirements

Strong computer skills, including the ability to create documents and work within company-specific programs.
Successful completion and passage of the Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based U.S. federal, state, and city checks, before starting employment.

Nice To Haves

Office experience is preferred.
Previous experience with the general public, particularly seniors, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with office work, filing, and distribution of interoffice mail.
Answer calls, take requests, and follow up on work orders from residents and staff.
Enter, distribute, and complete work orders through the Mainstar Program, generating reports as needed.
Maintain Housekeeping schedules and work orders.
Organize, maintain, and update program records, including residential apartment and vendor information for billing purposes.
Maintain the General Services office-supply inventory.
Provide guidance and address questions and concerns from residents, staff, and visitors.
