About The Position

Big O Tires is seeking an experienced, hardworking Tire Technician to service and maintain tires and wheels accurately and in a timely manner. The role also includes vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid exchanges, and flushes. Technicians may test-drive vehicles after maintenance. The franchise offers benefits, profit-sharing bonuses, paid time off, and a family-oriented work environment. Compensation is $15.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience and ability. This position is with an independently owned and operated franchise; the franchisee makes the hiring decisions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have experience mounting, balancing, and repairing tires.
• Be able to perform oil changes and fluid exchanges on automobiles and light trucks.
• Be available to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
• Have reliable transportation to work.
• Be able to move and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Meet company requirements, including successfully completing a pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount tires; repair, rotate, and inflate tires; and install new wheels.
• Perform fluid services and fluid exchanges.
• Perform oil changes, flushes, and other maintenance.
• Calibrate tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
• Stock inventory.
• Test and install batteries.
• Test-drive vehicles after maintenance.
