About The Position
Millers on Big Hill is seeking a skilled and dedicated General Tire and Lube Technician to provide vehicle maintenance and customer service. The role involves tire and lube services, basic vehicle inspections, wheel alignments, recordkeeping, and assisting customers with tire recommendations. The position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with no weekends. Pay is $640–$800 per week.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient knowledge of tire installation, repair techniques, and oil change procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate shop equipment and tools safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a tire and lube technician or in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs.
- Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues or safety concerns.
- Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
- Assist customers with tire recommendations, answer inquiries, and provide customer service.
- Follow company safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop.
