About The Position
Empire State Radiology (ESR Metro Hudson) is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to join its team as an independent contractor. This remote role offers flexible scheduling, with day or evening shifts operating in Eastern Standard Time, and allows radiologists to build a schedule around personal or family commitments. The ideal candidate is comfortable interpreting all aspects of diagnostic imaging. Empire State Radiology provides comprehensive radiology expertise, innovative diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions. The practice is composed of board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologists and serves hospitals in New York and New Jersey, both onsite and remotely. Its team of more than 50 radiologists uses advanced workflow technologies, including AI, deep learning, smart worklists, and Mosaic OS, to support patient care. The practice also offers opportunities for collaboration and leadership, physician liaison support to reduce administrative work, and medical malpractice coverage with tail. Compensation is productivity-based, with per-wRVU and per-shift incentive models. The stated salary range is $400,000–$1,000,000; final compensation may vary based on factors including education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Radiology.
- Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
- Valid medical license in New York or eligibility to obtain one.
