About The Position

The Conversion Generalist I role is responsible for preparing, packaging, and inspecting cheese products in a fast-paced environment. Associates are assigned a department upon hire, such as dice/shred or aged, and may vacuum pack, salt, peel packaging, or tie product as required. The position also maintains sanitation standards, ensures proper labeling and coding, identifies product or equipment issues, and supports the department as needed. The role is scheduled from 7:15 AM to 5:45 PM, Monday through Saturday, with two rotating days off. Starting pay is $22.89 per hour. Additional premiums are $3.00 per hour for night-shift hours (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) and $2.25 per hour for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Three or more months of related work experience and/or training in a food manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
Ability to regularly lift and move objects weighing 20–50 pounds.
Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, and climb.
Ability to work in conditions involving vibration, extreme hot and cold temperatures, high humidity, and loud machinery.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Prepare, package, and inspect cheese products.
