General Production - 1st Shift
About The Position
General Production at Grande’s Brownsville location offers opportunities in several roles, including Packaging Associate, Receiving & Inventory Specialist, Dairy Production Associate, Production Generalist, and Sanitation. These positions contribute to producing Grande’s Italian cheeses. The role offers different 12-hour first-shift schedules: 3 a.m.–3 p.m., 3:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., or 4 a.m.–4 p.m. Brownsville follows a 2/2/3 schedule, meaning associates work every other weekend. Starting pay ranges from $20.17 to $25.50, based on position and experience. A $3 night-shift premium applies to hours worked from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., and a $2.25 weekend premium applies to Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Requirements
- At least one year of related work experience and/or training is required, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Physical ability to lift 20–50 pounds and climb.
- Ability to work in humid conditions and extreme cold and hot temperatures.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Related work experience and/or training in the food manufacturing industry is preferred.
