About The Position
This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position at the Eufaula Fresh Plant. The role involves maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. Depending on the position, work may involve handling product with a knife or scissors to bone out or trim pieces, or operating powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines. Applicants must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions.
- Be willing to work in damp, cold, or hot environments.
- Be able to reach above shoulder level.
- Be able to stand for 8–10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
- Be able to perform repetitive motions.
- Be able to climb stairs to and from work areas.
- Be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
