About The Position
This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position at the Eufaula Further Processing Plant. The role is responsible for general production work while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. Depending on the position, duties may involve using a knife or scissors to bone out or trim product, or operating powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines. Applicants must provide a Social Security number to complete the application review. Some roles may require a background check after an offer is extended.
Requirements
- Willing and able to meet the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- For some positions, able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand for 8–10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
- Able to perform repetitive motions and reach above shoulder level.
- Able to climb stairs to and from work areas.
- Willing to work in damp, cold, or hot environments.
- Must wear required PPE, including frocks, gloves, ear protection, a hair net, and a beard guard.
- Must provide a Social Security number on the application to complete the application review.
