About The Position

The Conversion Generalist I prepares, packages, and inspects cheese products in a fast-paced production environment. Associates are assigned to a department upon hire, such as dice/shred or aged, and may vacuum pack, salt, peel packaging, or tie product as needed. The role also involves loading cheese onto production lines, conducting quality checks, monitoring automated equipment, and completing accurate production and regulatory documentation. The associate maintains sanitation standards, ensures proper labeling and coding, identifies product or equipment issues, and provides support across the department as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Three months or more of related work experience and/or training in a food manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
Ability to regularly lift and move objects weighing 20–50 lbs.
Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, climb, and work with exposure to vibration.
