About The Position

General Production Labor positions at FPL Food’s Further Processing facility in Thomasville, Georgia, process beef into grinds, hamburger patties, and chubs. Employees follow procedures and work toward goals set by the General Manager for line speed and work quality. They help ensure operations run smoothly, efficiently, cleanly, and safely, remain compliant, and contribute to the team effort.

The work involves physical, repetitive assembly-line tasks in a cold, wet environment. Employees may rotate among positions and production lines.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods while performing physical, repetitive line work.
• Ability to grip, grasp, and lift or push up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to withstand cold temperatures and work in a wet environment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with beef further processing, including stacking, packing, sealing, weighing, and sorting.
• Perform repetitive assembly-line work.
• Use tools and machinery to process products.
• Help achieve line-speed and work-quality goals set by the General Manager.
• Contribute to smooth, efficient, clean, safe, and compliant operations.
• Rotate among positions and production lines as needed.
