About The Position

A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time General Neurologist to join its growing neuroscience team. The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient neurology care for adult patients, evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of neurological conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, interpreting diagnostic studies, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate EMR documentation. Participation in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case discussions is also expected.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Active or eligible for Washington State medical licensure
  • Active/eligible DEA registration
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice To Haves

  • Fellowship training is welcome but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient neurology care for adult patients
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of neurological conditions including headaches, epilepsy, neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, stroke follow-up, and multiple sclerosis
  • Conduct patient consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning
  • Collaborate closely with primary care providers, specialists, and rehabilitation teams to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Interpret diagnostic studies including EEG, EMG, MRI, CT, and other neurological testing as appropriate
  • Educate patients and families regarding neurological conditions, medications, and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case discussions
