About The Position
A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle Metro Area is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join its growing digestive health team. The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of clinic, procedures, and inpatient consultative care with excellent support, strong procedural volume, and long-term career stability.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for Washington State medical license
- Active or eligible DEA registration
- Strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including EGD and colonoscopy
- Evaluate and manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver disorders
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, oncology, radiology, and hospital medicine teams
- Participate in a shared call rotation with strong hospitalist support
- Use EPIC EMR with integrated clinical workflows and endoscopy documentation tools
- Leverage an established referral base supported by a large primary care network
- Opportunity to develop subspecialty interests within gastroenterology
