About The Position
This entry-level team member position delivers remarkable customer service through product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The role includes a variety of retail tasks related to products, customer service, and merchandising. The clerk helps keep the store running smoothly by stocking shelves and preparing the store for the day ahead, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Be comfortable learning and using basic technology.
- Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
- Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting shared goals.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
- Move products from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
- Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
- Work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
- Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
- Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
