General Mechanic Full Time Nights

About The Position

This position is responsible for routine maintenance of the hospital and other facilities operated by Baptist Health Hardin. The Engineer role is a mid-level position within the Facilities Engineering Department, requiring expertise in maintenance areas including advanced electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs. Under the guidance of Engineering leadership, the Engineer III helps ensure the healthcare system’s infrastructure operates efficiently and complies with applicable regulations and standards. Patient care and infection control standards are priorities and are integrated into all activities. The role uses the CMMS work order system to communicate across the organization and manage activities and assets. The schedule is five days a week, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM, with rotation every third weekend and holiday and a 15% shift differential. The role may require work outside regularly scheduled shifts, in inclement weather, or during emergencies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least four years of experience in an engineering, facilities maintenance, or related role.

Responsibilities
