About The Position

The General Mechanic maintains the hotel’s physical functionality and safety, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas. The role responds to guest service requests and team member work orders, performs repairs and preventive maintenance across multiple building systems, and documents inspections and completed work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas.
• Respond promptly to guest calls and team member work orders.
• Perform repairs and maintenance in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of facilities and equipment and address identified needs.
• Document completed inspections and repairs and flag issues requiring further attention.
