The General Manager is responsible for everything that happens during a shift at a Domino’s Pizza store, including cost, inventory, and cash controls, customer relations, staffing, paperwork, food management, scheduling, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability. The manager sets an example for the crew, follows all policies and procedures, and expects the same standards from team members. The role emphasizes customer service, attendance and punctuality, and maintaining the store’s image and operating standards. The position also includes general store-team duties as needed, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and facilities. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery duties may include delivering products by car, bringing orders to customers’ doors, and distributing flyers and door hangers. The work involves standing and walking for much of the shift, handling supplies and food products, and may require lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying items, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, crouching, and reaching. Work may expose team members to varying weather and temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. A valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle are required for delivery duties.
