About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. Drivers also work in the store, where they receive training and assist with preparing food and other team tasks. The role involves customer service, processing orders, operating equipment, and maintaining the store and its supplies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for most tasks and walk short distances for short durations.
• Ability to occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
• Ability to bend, crouch, squat, reach, and perform continuous hand tasks as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and place supplies on shelves.
• Assist with other in-store tasks as trained.
