About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers in local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential opportunities for advancement, including management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver orders while also performing general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The work involves customer and coworker communication, order entry using a keyboard or touch screen, handling money, and working in a variety of store and outdoor conditions. Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, moving trays, and occasionally using stairs or a ladder.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing.
Ability to work around varying weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload product deliveries using a hand truck and lift or carry supplies as needed.
Move trays placed on dollies and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder for signs, cleaning, or maintenance.
