About The Position
The General Manager role includes operating equipment; stocking ingredients from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone orders; taking inventory and completing related paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also involves delivering products by car to customers’ doors and delivering flyers and door hangers. The position requires accurate and quick arithmetic, handling monetary change, verbal, written, and telephone communication, precise motor coordination, and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. The employee must understand and provide written instructions, communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone, read maps and find addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate varied terrain—including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites—while carrying products. Requirements
- Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Make correct monetary change.
