About The Position
The General Manager operates equipment, stocks ingredients from delivery areas into storage and work areas, prepares products, receives and processes telephone orders, takes inventory, and completes related paperwork. The role also involves cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The position requires accurate and quick basic arithmetic, handling monetary change, and communicating with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person. Duties include delivering products to customers by car and to their doors, distributing flyers and door hangers, and navigating addresses and varied delivery sites.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate varied terrain and delivery sites while carrying product.
