About The Position
The General Manager owns the overall success of an 85°C Bakery Cafe store, including sales, profitability, team performance, and guest experience. The role leads and develops the management team and staff, manages store operations and financials, and serves as the connection between the store and the corporate team. The General Manager upholds standards for safety, quality, service, and cleanliness. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position in Salmon Creek, Washington, reporting to the Area Manager. Compensation is listed as $62,400–$65,000 per year, based on experience, with eligibility for a performance-based team bonus. The work requires moderate physical activity, including nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, reaching overhead, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees may be exposed to extreme temperatures in coolers and freezers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of store or restaurant management experience.
- High school diploma.
- Experience leading high-volume operations and supervising 10 or more team members.
- Strong business acumen, including P&L, labor, and scheduling knowledge, plus proven leadership.
- Full-time availability, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
