This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and using a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment can involve varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, occasional climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous use of hands for tasks like shaping dough and using tools. Reaching is performed continuously up, down, and forward. For driver or store management positions, duties include delivering product by car, accessing an insured vehicle, and possessing a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Essential skills for drivers include navigational abilities and the capacity to navigate various delivery sites while carrying product. Physical demands for drivers include carrying product during deliveries, driving within a designated area, and walking/climbing to customer locations. Work conditions for drivers include exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and requiring far vision and night vision for driving.
