About The Position
The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; and prepares products. The role receives and processes telephone orders, takes inventory, and completes associated paperwork. It also involves cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The position requires processing customer orders by phone and in person, using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and communicating with customers and coworkers. Duties also include delivering products by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers within a designated delivery area. Delivery work may involve navigating multi-story buildings, private homes, and other sites while carrying products.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
