About The Position
Schumacher Homes is seeking a General Manager to provide overall leadership for their people and operations for the Knoxville division. This role involves hiring, training, and motivating employees to exceed business plan goals, aligning Sales, Construction, and Administrative teams for operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The General Manager will also oversee customer contracts, vendor management, budgets, and forecasting.
Requirements
- Strong strategic, analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented leadership skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction.
- Experience with custom home or scattered lot build preferred.
- Ability to oversee Sales and Construction.
- Ability to collaborate with internal departments to manage contract-to-build timeline.
- Proficiency with construction technology and tools to streamline operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership of people and operations for the Knoxville division.
