About The Position
Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations with a "treat it like you own it" philosophy. Our stores operate on a one-shift model, closing at 2 pm, allowing for a strong work-life balance. The General Manager is responsible for ensuring the store is audit-ready, managing catering/mobile/in-store orders, providing an exceptional customer experience, and supporting the team. During peak hours, the GM will assist in all positions, manage breaks, and strive for excellent customer survey results. Post-closing tasks typically take 30-45 minutes, including closing procedures and prepping for the next day. Administrative tasks like scheduling, ordering, and inventory can be managed before opening or after closing. The role includes taking daily deposits to the bank. A comprehensive 5-week training program is provided.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting.
- Hands-on operator skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire the team.
- Tried and true strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets.
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

- Prior exposure to P&L analysis is valuable.
