World Enterprises InternationalVillage of Warwick, NY

About The Position

World Enterprise is the parent company behind three brands in the professional window cleaning industry: Window Cleaning Resource (WCR), XERO, and Sörbo. We recently acquired Sörbo, and we are moving the operation from California to our York facility. We are hiring a General Manager to take full ownership of the brand, lead the transition, and build Sörbo into a meaningful growth engine within the World Enterprise portfolio. This is a builder's role. You will own the brand end-to-end, from operations to sales to product development. You will report directly to the CEO and have the autonomy to make decisions, set strategy, and run Sörbo as if it were your own.

Requirements

  • A track record running a brand, a business unit, or a meaningful product line, ideally in B2B distribution.
  • Experience building and managing a distributor or dealer network.
  • Commercial instinct, including the ability to read a P&L, set prices, and balance volume versus margin.
  • Operational fluency across inventory, purchasing, fulfillment, and product development.
  • New product development experience, from concept through launch.
  • Comfort with KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadences.
  • A bias toward action and a focus on owning outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the relocation of Sörbo from California to the York facility, managing inventory transfers, vendor transitions, operational setup, and timelines.
  • Build and manage the distributor channel, driving adoption of the distributor portal and acquiring new partners through trade shows, outreach, and referrals.
  • Own the customer relationship, serving as the primary point of contact for B2B channel inquiries, complaints, pricing issues, and order escalations.
  • Set and execute annual revenue targets by distributor, region, and product category in collaboration with the CEO.
  • Manage the Sörbo product catalog, identifying slow movers, pricing opportunities, assortment gaps, and flagging inventory or lead time issues.
  • Drive new product development by identifying market gaps, gathering input, and managing products from concept through launch.
  • Establish Sörbo-specific KPIs and build an operating dashboard covering distributor count, active/dormant accounts, revenue, pipeline, and portal adoption.
  • Manage inventory health in partnership with supply chain and warehouse teams, ensuring SKUs are in stock and reorder points are optimized.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap for Sörbo's expansion over the next three years, identifying new product categories, geographies, and distributor verticals.
  • Act as the brand's early warning system by collecting and analyzing feedback from distributors and end-users to identify recurring themes in quality, pricing, packaging, or service.
  • Operate the day-to-day functions including order processing, invoicing, fulfillment, and data entry into SellerCloud, managing B2B app tiers, discount levels, and other operational parameters.
