About The Position
The Wags Club is the largest and most upscale dog daycare and boarding resort on the Westside. We’re looking for a General Manager to lead our team, support daily operations, and help maintain the high level of care our clients expect. This role is ideal for someone with management experience who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and keeping operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership position in a business that operates seven days a week. Managers are expected to stay engaged with their team and help ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the day. The Wags Club is expanding, with plans to open additional locations, including our next site in Texas. This role offers the opportunity to grow into increased responsibility over time.
Requirements
- Previous leadership or management experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Customer service experience and problem-solving ability
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends
- A genuine love of dogs
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth day-to-day workflow
- Lead and support a team of staff members across multiple shifts
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for all dogs
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and general administrative tasks
- Communicate with clients and help resolve issues when needed
- Ensure consistency in service and team performance
