Front Desk Receptionist – Dog Daycare & Boarding (Team-Focused Role)
About The Position

At The Wags Club , our front desk is where the entire day comes together — welcoming clients, coordinating care for dogs, and keeping everything running smoothly from start to finish. We’re a well-established, cage-free dog daycare and boarding facility serving the Santa Monica and West L.A. community, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a fast-paced, team-driven environment where their role truly matters. Requirements
- Prior customer service or front desk experience ( )
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks at once
- Friendly, professional communication style
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable around dogs of all breeds and sizes

Responsibilities
- Greet clients and check dogs in and out accurately
- Answer phones and assist clients with questions
- Process payments and maintain an accurate cash drawer
- Explain daycare, boarding, and grooming services to new clients
- Communicate important details to staff (feeding, medications, notes)
- Keep the front desk clean and organized
- Assist with photo uploads and light social media updates
