Front Desk Receptionist
About The Position
Shore Outpatient Surgicenter has an immediate need for a full time Front Desk Receptionist! Welcome to Shore Outpatient Surgicenter At Shore Outpatient Surgicenter, we focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for your surgical procedure. Our facility is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Front Desk Receptionist at Shore Outpatient Surgicenter The Front Desk Receptionist interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff; Admit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in system; Collect monies due and document in the billing system; Handle funds per office procedure. Answer incoming phone calls. All other duties assigned by the Business Office Manager.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
- Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
- Good communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Medical terminology and computer experience preferred.
